2021-07-03

Twin screw extruder is a kind of dispersion in which solid powder and liquid coexist and are mainly composed of solid phase, through forced way to make the basic partical of solid powder mutual bonding and increasing. And form a certain shape and particle size uniform, concentrated particle group.

Ningbo Fangli Technology Co., Ltd. is a mechanical equipment manufacturer with nearly 30 years’ experiences of plastic extrusion equipment, new environmental protection and new materials equipment. To give you a brief introduction about how to save electricity and better maintenance of twin screw extruder?

1. If there is abnormal sound during the operation of twin-screw extruder, it should be stopped immediately for inspection or repair.

2. Twin screw extruder is not allowed to run empty, so as not to damage the screw and machine.

3. Machine parts to be inspected: the screw needs to be pulled out for inspection, measurement and identification, and the parts that have reached the specified wear limit shall be replaced according to the wear condition of the parts, and the damaged parts shall be repaired.

4. Regular maintenance time: we usually shut down the twin-screw extruder for regular maintenance after 2500-5000h continuous operation.

5. When the twin-screw extruder needs to stop using for a long time, the screw of the twin-screw extruder should be placed in the barrel and not be taken out, and the working surface of the head should be coated with anti rust grease. Regular calibration of temperature control instruments, check the correctness of its regulation and control sensitivity.

6. Strictly prevent metal or other sundries from falling into the hopper, so as not to damage the screw and barrel. In order to prevent iron impurities from entering the barrel, a magnetic frame can be installed at the feeding port of the barrel; Or sift the material in advance.
