Types of Plastic Pipe Cutting Machines

The cutter is used to cut the fixed length pipe, the machine cuts plastic pipe by manual or auto according your set, when it is working in gear the cutting switch should be in the auto position.

Here we briefly introduce some types of cutting machines for your reference as follows:

Planetary cutting machine: it is a traditional large-size pipe cutting machine. Compared with the saw blade cutting machine, it can cut large-size pipes when the diameter of the saw blade is relatively small because it increases the function of rotating the saw blade (i.e. rotating around the pipe). The quality of cutting section is also higher than that of saw blade cutting machine. Advantages: it can cut large-size thick wall pipes, which is more economical than blade cutting machine.

Planetary and blade combined cutting machine: in order to obtain good cutting section and meet the cutting of large-size thick wall pipe, Fang Li has developed planetary and blade combined cutting machine. The cutting machine has two sets of planetary cutting devices, one is a saw blade and the other is a blade. When cutting thick wall pipes, first use the saw blade to cut a certain depth, and then the blade will follow up the cutting. This type of cutting machine can meet the cutting of large-diameter thick wall pipe.

Flying knife cutting machine: this model is designed to meet the high-speed cutting of small-size pipes. There is no revolution action during cutting, and the blade can quickly complete the high-speed cutting action under the control of electric feed. Advantages: it can meet the high-speed cutting of small pipes (the highest line speed is up to 100M / min), simple structure, small model and low cost.

Saw blade cutting machine: it is a more traditional form of cutting machine. It is commonly used to cut small-size pipes below 160. Circular saw blade is generally used, and the diameter of saw blade is designed according to the specification of cutting pipe. During cutting, the saw blade feed is up and down (or left and right) push type, and there is no revolution action. Generally, rubber blocks designed on both sides of the saw blade are used for clamping. Advantages: simple structure, low cost.
