Here, we have prepared some matters needing attention in the pipe production process as follows for your reference:
Regular cleaning of screw and mold: due to the raw material itself, some small molecular substances generated during synthesis and additives added during granulation will precipitate during processing. Since the single screw has no self-cleaning effect, the precipitates will adhere to the channels’ surface of barrel, screw and mold, which will affect the heating efficiency and waste energy; Second, it will decompose in the environment of high temperature and high pressure for a long time, and will finally be carbonized after coking, which will form small black spots that enter the pipe and affect the performance and appearance of the pipe. Therefore, it is recommended to clean the screw, barrel and mold once every 3 ~ 4 months.
Regular cleaning of waterways and calibrating & spraying tank: usually, the cooling water used is circulating water, which is bound to produce a lot of dirt and impurities after long-term use. Even if the waterways have a filter screen, it is difficult to completely filter and remove them. With a long production cycle, the waterways will be blocked, and the spraying will be blocked to a certain extent, which will affect the stability of water pressure and cooling effect, and result in unstable production. Therefore, it is recommended to clean it regularly according to the quality of water quality.
Regular cleaning of the die and the mandrel: during long-term production, many precipitates will adhere to the die and mandrel, which will cause concave lines on the inner and outer walls of the product and affect the appearance and inner wall quality of the product. Therefore, it is recommended to clean regularly according to the actual situation, generally once every 2 ~ 3 days.
Precautions for thermal insulation time: the thermal insulation time depends on the size of the mold, generally no more than 1.5 hours. Too long thermal insulation time is easy to produce coke, too short thermal insulation and poor plasticization, which will affect the product quality.
