The basic principle of plastic pipe extrusion molding

2022-01-20

Ningbo Fangli Technology Co., Ltd. is a mechanical equipment manufacturer with nearly 30 years’ experiences of plastic pipe extrusion equipment, new environmental protection and new materials equipment. Since its establishment Fangli has been developed based on user’s demands. Through continuous improvement, independent R&D on the core technology and digestion & absorption of advanced technology and other means, we have developed PVC pipe extrusion line, PP-R pipe extrusion line, PE water supply / gas pipe extrusion line, which was recommended by the Chinese Ministry of Construction to replace imported products. We have gained the title of “First-class Brand in Zhejiang Province”.

The extrusion molding process of plastic pipe is divided into three stages

I. Plasticization of raw materials. This process can make the solid materials turn into a uniform viscous fluid through the heating and mixing of the extruder;

II. Forming. Under the function of extrusion parts of the extruder, the molten material passes through the forming head continuously at a certain pressure and speed, so as to obtain a certain cross-section shape;

III. Cooling and calibration. The molten material can fix the obtained shape through calibration and cooling treatment, and become a solid state (plastic pipe).

The above three stages are realized by the main machine and auxiliary machine, that is, the extrusion unit. Specifically, the main machine is the extruder, and the auxiliary machine consists of head, calibration device, cooling device, traction device, cutting device and stacking frame.
