Cooling water tank for plastic pipe molding

There are many auxiliary machines used in plastic extruder to extrude pipes, among which the more important auxiliary machine is cooling water tank. The auxiliary machine we use in the extruder production line is a kind of plastic auxiliary machine often used for extrusion plastic pipe. We generally use steel plate welding combination for water tank manufacturing. Steel pipe is used to connect the upper water and the lower water, and the cooling water is passed into the tank. The whole cooling tank can move back and forth along the center line of pipe operation.

The cooling water tank equipment installed behind the extrusion equipment of the extruder is behind the setting sleeve. It mainly immerses the forming pipe extruded by the setting sleeve into water to further cool and solidify the pipe. For the pipe extruded by extruder, the diameter is large (generally refers to more than φ100mm), if the pipe is immersed in water with large buoyancy, the cooling of the pipe is uneven and easy to bend. Therefore, in the production of this large-diameter cooling, we should adopt the spray method, spray cooling water on the circumference of the pipe at the same time, so that the pipe can be evenly cooled.

1. The circulating cooling water in the water tank should enter from the outlet end of the pipe and be discharged from the inlet end of the pipe, so as to gradually reduce the temperature of the pipe blank from high temperature to low temperature, so as to prevent the sudden cooling of the pipe from causing great stress to the product and affecting the quality of pipes.

2. Field operators must pay attention to adjusting the center line of inlet and outlet control on the water tank to be on the same horizontal center line as the die, which can effectively prevent the pipe from bending.

3. When we shut down production, in order to ensure the service life of the cooling water tank equipment, we need to drain the cooling water in the tank.
