Maintenance and repair of extruder reducer

The reducer is an important part of the pipe extrusion equipment. The following are the precautions for the maintenance and repair of the reducer:

1. After the machine is used for a period of time, a comprehensive inspection should be made to check the tightness of all screws.

2. In case of power interruption in production, the main drive and heating are stopped. When the power supply is restored, each section of the barrel must be reheated to the specified temperature and kept warm for a period of time before starting the extruder.

3. After the extruder has been used for half a year, there will be iron filings or other impurities from the gear grinding in the reducer. Therefore, the gear should be cleaned and the lubricating oil of the reducer should be replaced at the same time.

4. If the steering fullness of the instrument and pointer is found, check whether the contact of the equilateral line of the thermocouple is good.

5. No sundries are allowed in the material, and it is strictly forbidden for hard objects such as metal, sand and gravel to enter the hopper and extruder.

6. When opening the barrel cover or air extraction cover, strictly prevent foreign matters from falling into the host.

7. There should be enough preheating and heating time, and the manual turning should be light before driving. Generally, the constant temperature shall be maintained for 0.5 hours after reaching the process set temperature.

8. The screw is only allowed to start at low speed, and the idling time shall not exceed 3 minutes.

9. Check the wear of the cylinder and screw every year, as well as the gearbox, bearing and oil seal.

10. The heating cylinder and machine surface should be cleaned in daily production.
