The plastic pipe extrusion process

The plastic pipe extrusion process is divided into three stages:

1、 Plasticization of raw materials, that is, through the heating and mixing of the extruder, the solid raw materials become uniform viscous fluids;

2、 Forming, that is, under the action of the extrusion parts of the extruder, the molten materials can continuously pass through the die-head at a certain pressure and speed, so as to obtain a certain section shape;

3、 Cooling forming, that is, through sizing and cooling treatment, the molten material can fix the obtained shape and change it into a solid state (plastic pipe).

The above three stages are realized by the main machine and auxiliary machine, or the extrusion unit. Specifically, the main machine is the extruder, and the auxiliary machine consists of the head, sizing device, cooling device, haul off device, cutting machine and stock device.
