Structural Design

· Single-screw extruder: Simple construction — one screw rotating in a heated barrel. Variants include barrier, vented, grooved-feed, pin-barrel, and modular designs. Compact size, widely used in compounding and blown film.

· Twin-screw extruder: Two parallel screws in a figure-∞ barrel. Classified by meshing type (intermeshing/non-intermeshing), degree of meshing (partial/fully), and rotation direction (co-rotating/counter-rotating). Complex structure offers enhanced functionality.
