Pipe extrusion die is an indispensable and key component in the complete set of pipe extrusion equipment (production line). It is the main key equipment for shaping and ensuring product quality.

Main functions of pipe extrusion die

· Make the molten material change from spiral motion to linear motion;

· Generate necessary forming pressure to ensure the compactness of products;

· The material is further plasticized through the mold;

· Ensure the surface quality of products;

· The products with the required section shape and size can be obtained through the die.

Basic requirements for pipe extrusion die

·The flow passage of molten plastic shall be smooth and streamlined without dead corner;

·The runner surface shall be subject to wear-resistant or corrosion-resistant treatment, such as nitriding or hard chromium plating;·In order to make the product dense, it is necessary to ensure sufficient pressure, that is, the compression ratio design of the die head should be reasonable. Generally, the pressure of polyolefin mold is in the range of 10-30mpa;

·The material flow shall be at a lower material temperature in the mold to prevent the material from transverse flow and premature oxidation effect;

·On the premise of meeting the strength requirements, the connection with the barrel and co-extrusion machine has good sealing and easy loading and unloading;

·There is no material leakage at the joints of the die.
