The process of PE pipe production line
Main production process: preparation of raw materials + additives → mixing → conveying and feeding → forced feeding → single screw extruder → extrusion head→ sizing sleeve → spray vacuum calibration tank → spray or immersion cooling tank →digital printer →belt or crawler tractor → cutting machine →pipe tip table or coiler→ finished product testing and packaging
It can be seen from the above process that the production process of the whole PE pipe is relatively complex. If the process control is not good, the product is easy to have defects. From the perspective of process control, the following points need to be paid attention to.
1. Temperature is one of the important factors affecting product quality. If the temperature is too low, the raw material is not easy to melt, and the quality of the product will be seriously affected. If the temperature is too high, the polymer is easy to decompose and difficult to travel.
2. Screw rotation speed and back pressure screw speed directly affect the quality and output of products. If the rotating speed is too fast, the extrusion amount of raw materials increases and the shear force becomes larger, which is conducive to the plasticization of raw materials. However, if the rotating speed is too fast, the residence time of raw materials in the screw is short, resulting in the strength of products being affected. The back pressure of screw can adjust the mixing degree and shear force of raw materials and affect the plasticization quality of products. Different back pressures can be generated by adjusting the perforated plate, filter screen and other parts of the extruder.
3. The regulation of traction speed in extrusion process is very important. Generally speaking, the traction speed directly affects the wall thickness of the product. In addition, the traction speed also determines the cross-section size of the product and the cooling effect of the product.
